The Calrad 40-992 3 x 1 HDMI switcher routes high definition video (in multiple resolutions up to 1080p) and digital audio from any one of the three sources to a video display unit. Three inputs accommodate the simultaneous connection of up to three high definition video sources, such as satellite systems and HD DVD players. The output sends the high definition audio/video signals to a high definition display. Aside from the manual switching, the 40-992 can also be controlled via the IR remote that is provided or the switcher will automatically switch to new source signals when other input devices are turned on. The compact design eliminates the bulk of an HDMI switcher while still having the same functionality. The 40-992 extends the range of HDMI compliant devices by equalizing and re-clocking the HDMI signal. Includes external remote IR receiver and remote control. Note! The Calrad 40-218 QUAD HDMI Video Processor and Switcher: Provides easy plug and play connectivity for up to four HDMI 1080p video signals that can be displayed on a single HDMI video signal to a video display. The processor can display 4 sources, each with its own video resolution. The processor can display 10 different preset configurations of video windows like full screen, split screen, quad, etc.. The processor can also act as a 4 source video switcher. Audio can be muted or individually selected between the 4 sources and routed to the HDMI output for monitoring of each source. The onscreen OSD menu displays input video resolution for each HDMI input source 1-4 and which audio source is currently being decoded and passed to the HDMI output. Blue Input source L.E.D. indicators for each input provides indication that a active HDMI signal is present. Output video resolution can be set to 720p or 1080p. Audio and video functions can be controlled manually from the front panel or from the slim 20 button IR remote control.
