This audio power amp meets the strictest requirements regarding quality and solidity. Due to a very special circuit the output stage always sets itself at CLASS A without any unnecessary loss of power, hence the name "EFFICIENT CLASS A". A major advantage of this amplifier kit is that NOT A SINGLE ADJUSTMENT is required! Provisions are made to switch two amplifiers in "bridge", allowing the power to be doubled. For security reasons the amplifier is provided with a short-circuit protection and a thermal protection. Furthermore, the speakers connected to the amplifier are protected against switch-on clicks and against D.C. voltages which might occur on the output. The amplifier comes complete with heat sink and transformer, allowing the amplifier block to be built in wherever you like (disco-bar, active speaker system, P.A. application, etc.).
