The Calrad 72-144 is a Powered or Un-powered 10 Port USB 2.0 HUB with10 independent and isolated ports with over current protection, desktop or wall mounting capabilities. This Hi-Speed USB Desktop Hub can manage almost any digital warriors expanding collection of USB-enabled devices. It’ is perfect for low current charging of tablets, portable media devices, cellular phones, digital cameras and other mobile accessories including connectivity of keyboards, mice, Web cameras, flash drives, card readers and more. The compact and durable plastic case features the power and hub-to-PC ports on the side panel to help better organize connections and minimize cable clutter. Plug and Play with hot-swap capabilities, Windows and Mac compatibility, with data transfer speeds up to 480 Mbps. This unit can be used with or without the DC power supply. When the 72-144 is connected to a USB port for connectivity (PC-MAC, etc.) without the DC power supply the max current from the connected port is divided between any of the 1-10 ports used. When the DC power supply is used the total current is the sum of conected port and the DC power supply which is 1 Amp.
