The Calrad 72-173 RJ45 terminal block adapter is a convenient solder-less adapter used to connect RJ45 connectors to devices with different types of signals over inexpensive UTP Cat5e, Cat6 cable without the use of RJ45 connectors or crimping tools. If you need to change or modify your installation for use with different signals, no problem simply change the wiring with a small slotted screw driver, no additional connectors are necessary. The Calrad 72-173 has labeled terminal blocks 1-8 positions and accepts 22 to 24 AWG wire.
