I recently bought an identical jack. Except it was made in Japan. And is superior to this Taiwan made pos. The biggest (and most important) difference is the metal contacts. Solder didnt stick as well to this new one. And the 1/8" plug had an intermittent problem with getting the signal through without wiggling it. Clearly China is all about copying the look of things. But turns quality into junk.
