Converts digital coax signals to light-pipe/fiber-optic signals. Connects optical-only DVD player or DSS unit into a receiver that only has digital PCM coax outputs. Designed to bridge the gap between home theater components with differing input/output formats. These small but important adapters convert digital signals from coax to optical, or viceversa, ensuring compatibility between TosLink/optical components and those with coax connections.
